Visit the Performer's page to see who will be competing this year! Classic Cars, ETA’s, the Poodle Skirt Ladies - Windsor Elvis Fest Media Event sets stage for the 2011 festival! The Windsor Star recently featured the Windsor Elvis Fest Media Event: The fashion of choice this year at Windsor Elvis Fest will be Hawaiian shirts and leis. The sixth annual event put on by Centres for Seniors Windsor, June 24 to 26 at Capitol Theatre, doubles as the 50th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s most popular movie, Blue Hawaii. Organizers will take the music to the streets for the first time, closing off a portion of University Avenue West for a Friday night dance under the stars. The 2011 Windsor Grand Champion will represent Windsor Elvis Festival at the 2011 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest™ in Memphis during Elvis Week. New in 2011 – Friday night street party and Classic Car Show kick-off. Enjoy ETA’s performing Elvis’ music on the outdoor stage as they warm up for the weekend competition. Open to the public. Be a “Blue Suede Benefactor.” Proceeds from Windsor Elvis Fest support programs and services for seniors. Can’t come to the festival??
